The Life Insurance Association, LIA, is the professional education and development association for those who work in all areas of the Financial Services industry. A key part of their mission is to enhance the knowledge, competence and skills of their members and students. In a drive to deliver cutting edge online training and continual professional development services, LIA engaged DV4 to produce over 150 hours of interactive video based eLearning webcasts as well as provide live webcasts of weekend lectures to students around the country. Members can earn CPD points in viewing these webcasts.
Following on from this success, LIA engaged DV4 to build a CPD platform, in conjunction with their web provider, to allow their 20,000+ members to earn CPD points by taking quizzes inside of these instructional videos. Under certain rules, on the successful passing of each video, members would earn CPD points and the relevant certificates which would be logged in their account. The CPD platform involved a customisation of the Mediasite platform and the design and build of an in-house studio that LIA staff have been trained to use to produce high quality interactive video content.
DV4 continues to offer virtual meetings and hybrid events for LIA (and partner organisations for certain events such as FPDB, The Irish Institute of Insurance and the Irish Tax Institute) on an ongoing basis in 2023.
Full testimonial:
We engaged the services of DV4 to record our Lectures on Demand, a study resource we make available to our students 24/7. Access to the expertise and guidance of DV4 in the early planning stages of this project was invaluable and our project benefited greatly from it. DV4 are very easy to work with and made what we viewed as a daunting project a lot of fun. DV4 are very professional, as were the team of people they engaged for filming. We could not recommend DV4 highly enough, we are thrilled with the end product, they delivered a high quality product on time and within budget. We plan on working with DV4 again in the very near future.
