DV4 has been streaming audio and video content over the Internet since 1999.
Media can be streamed live or on-demand to websites, iPod's, PDAs and also to mobile phones over GPRS and 3G networks too.
At the Reading Festival 2000, DV4 produced a live, presenter-led Internet broadcast from four stages, along with interviews and vox pops.
Satellite technology was used to relay the production to a central encoding centre. Watched by almost 100,000 viewers, this was the largest live
music webcast in Europe at that time. View details here.
